How do we collect your data?
This website has no user accounts and no contact form. The only data you provide to us is what you send yourself, for example when you write to us by email.

What do we use your data for?
Some of the data is collected to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used, with your consent, to analyze which pages help visitors.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipients, and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. You also have the right, under certain circumstances, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
For this and other questions on the subject of data protection, you can contact us at any time.
Analytics Tools and Third-Party Tools
When visiting this website, your surfing behavior may be statistically analyzed if you agree to it. The only tool used for this is Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, and it is used solely to measure website traffic. Detailed information can be found in section 5 of this privacy policy and in our cookie policy.

Storage Duration
Unless a more specific storage period has been mentioned within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke consent for data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data; in the latter case, the deletion will take place after these reasons cease to apply.
General Information on the Legal Basis for Data Processing
If you have consented to data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. If you have consented to the storage of cookies or access to information on your device, data processing is additionally based on § 25(1) TDDDG (formerly TTDSG). Consent can be revoked at any time. Furthermore, we process your data if it is necessary for the fulfillment of a legal obligation on the basis of Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Data processing may also be based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Note on Data Transfer to the USA and Other Third Countries
We use tools from companies based in the USA (Cloudflare, Google). When these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in the USA. We would like to point out that no level of data protection comparable to that in the EU can be guaranteed there. We have no influence on these processing activities.
Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time, for this website via "Manage cookie settings" on our cookie policy page. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to Object to Data Collection in Special Cases (Art. 21 GDPR)
If data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing, and, if applicable, a right to correction or deletion of this data.
Right to Restriction of Processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
- If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we generally need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
- If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it for the exercise, defense, or assertion of legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of processing instead of deletion.
- If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balancing of your and our interests must be carried out. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
SSL/TLS Encryption
This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
Objection to Promotional Emails
The use of contact data published on this website for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information materials is hereby objected to. The operator of these pages expressly reserves the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam emails.
4. Data Collection on This Website
Cookies and Local Storage
Our website uses so-called "cookies" and comparable browser storage (local storage and session storage). These are small data packages that do no harm to your device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or they are automatically deleted by your web browser.
Storage that is necessary for providing the website (necessary storage) is used on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and § 25(2) TDDDG. All other storage is used exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG); consent can be revoked at any time.
A full list of the cookies and storage entries used, with provider, purpose, and duration, is in our cookie policy.
The cookie dialog blocks the page on your first visit until you press "Accept all" or "Reject"; nothing that requires consent runs before that. You can change your decision at any time via "Manage cookie settings" on our cookie policy page. Most web browsers also allow control over cookies through the browser settings.
Server Log Files
The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of the website.
Inquiries by Email
If you contact us by email, your inquiry including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We will not share this data without your consent. The processing of this data is based on our legitimate interest in handling inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where applicable, on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
5. Analytics Tools
Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Tag Manager is a tool that allows us to integrate statistics tools and other technologies on our website. Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles, does not store cookies, and does not perform any independent analysis. It only serves to manage and deploy the tools integrated through it.
The Google Tag Manager container is loaded with all Google Consent Mode signals set to "denied". In that state no statistics cookies are set and no persistent identifier is assigned to you. Only when you accept statistics cookies in the consent dialog is the "analytics_storage" signal set to "granted".
Google Analytics
The only tag deployed through Google Tag Manager is Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We use it for a single purpose: to measure website traffic, i.e. how many visits the site gets and which pages are read. We do not use it to identify you, we do not build a profile of you, and we do not merge the statistics with any other data.
After you accept, Google Analytics sets the cookies listed in our cookie policy and reports page views to Google. The information may be transferred to and stored on a Google server in the USA.
The use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time via "Manage cookie settings" on our cookie policy page; withdrawing it removes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Details can be found here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/.
More information on how Google handles user data can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
